The Livno wild horses are a symbol of this region. On the open spaces of the Livno plateau, among pastures and mountain slopes, a free-roaming herd attracts photographers, nature lovers and curious travellers from across the region. Hotel Novitas organises tours for guests who want to see the horses from a safe distance, with a local guide who knows the herd's movements and the best viewing spots.
The trip departs from the hotel by comfortable transport to the areas where horses are most often seen. The programme includes driving through the landscape, stops for photography and short explanations about the herd's history and conservation. The tour is adapted to weather and time of day to maximise your chances of a sighting.
